Katie Wehle fell into the event planning world when she planned her high school dances in student government. From there she received a scholarship to plan events for her university's housing program. While in school, she learned to love event planning and ultimately changed her major from psychology to event planning.

While in school, Katie interned for US Hunger (formerly Feeding Children Everywhere), a non-profit that is committed to "providing healthy meals to those in need". There she traveled across 13 states, setting-up and running "Hunger Projects" for local communities who want to make a difference. Katie was awarded the "No Limits Award" for going above and beyond at each event. She also was in the top 4 for fundraising by planning a "trash-a-truck" event for college students.

Upon graduating, Katie interned for LiveDAYBREAK. She helped execute 23 concerts as well as car shows, and adult-only events. Once finished with her internship, Katie took a job as a "Trade Show Coordinator" and Katie planned her company's tradeshow in Las Vegas.

Katie created Love, Kate Events in 2020 when she realized she had a love for creating memories for folks of all demographics and wanted to pursue building a business. Since then, Katie has been published by local magazines for her styled shoot, and planned weddings, bridal fairs, workshops, and more.

In March 2022, Katie wanted to gain more experience and became the Event Director for Alpine Art Center. Working with over 100 clients in 2022, Katie loves bringing their ideas to life. With different budgets, Katie has been able to create special memories from initial contact, to clean-up and beyond.

In June 2022, Katie became the bride, not the planner. She was able to create her dream wedding by working with her ideal vendors and creating magic with her day-of coordinator. Having a day-of coordinator helped with not only bringing the vision to life, but also to relief stress of wedding day jitters.

As Love, Kate grows, we will be expanding our services across the United States; specifically Utah, Idaho, Virginia, Washington DC, North and South Carolina.
